Japan Spring Trip 2009 - Day 1

Finally am updating Day 1's stuff now!!!

AH!!!!!

Day 1.
We reached the airport at around 3am. Much thanks to my Dad for sending me and Ariana down to the airport where we met up with Ina and her parents. Did the early check-in and went for breakfast. Had normal toast with eggs and a cup of milo~ xD It was average, I guess?

At around 4, we decided to head in and walk for a while, so we bid farewell to Ina's parents.
I had wanted to get a cream @ Guardian, but it was closed at that time,so I didn't manage to buy it.
We ended up walking as our gate was at the very end.

Took some pics and then we went to do our last blogging in Singapore before taking the flight to Narita~

Boarded the plane @ around 5 plus.
Plane took off before 6, which was good!

Apparently, something funny did happen on the plane.
There was this American guy, who just board the plane and sleeps instantly. AND!!! the worst thing to happen is that he keeps on snoring non-stop that it makes the people around him can't sleep, which was pretty irritating. But, it ended up with me and Ina giggling non-stop @ that guy! Ina said that it may be due to his size + sleeping habits. Flight entertainment was not bad. Watch abit on Madagascar 2 and then went to sleep.
Me and Ina took some funny photos before heading to sleep as it was almost a 6 hours plus flight to Narita.

We have reached!!!!!!! YAHOOO!!!!!!!!!!

Once the plane touched down, we hurried over the the ladies. But before that, something happened!! o_O

There was this lady who was walking wobbly and Ina helped her out of the plane, but the woman kept saying that she was fine and she wanted to head back quickly. And then, the staff over at the airport had a wheelchair with them as they had gotten a notice informing them that someone needed the wheelchair, so I went to tell the staff, but they ignored me. o_O Then, this guy who also helped the lady told the person holding on the wheel chair to come over immediately.

We left after the man helped the woman, and then went on to the immigration and collection of luggage. Took the NEX over to Tokyo.
Feeling really tired, coz of that man who snored on the flight. All thanks to him!

We dropped off at Tokyo Station and then changed to Shinkansen to head over to Odawara~
The weather was super cold, especially with the strong winds. I was feeling super cold back then!!!

All of us bought a bento onboard the Shinkansen as we hadn't had a proper lunch since touchdown.
Bento is super cold lah!......
But it was okie, I guess?
The Shinkansen ride took about 40 mins, so we had to finish the food quickly and drop off over at Odawara.

After reaching Odawara, we had to take another train that goes to Hakone Yumoto.
So while waiting for the train, we decided to camwhore again! xD

Once we reached Hakone Yumoto, we had to transfer to another train down to Tounosawa, where our onsen is located at.

It was pretty out of the way and the way to Tounosawa is really.....SCARY!!!!

Anyway, when we reach Tounosawa, we saw little sakuras that are white!!!

KYA!!!

And the river~ It was awesome!!!

We took the pictures and then headed to our onsen.
Followed the directions and we went down the hill.
Finally we found the place, as it was tough carrying the heavy luggages with us.
BUT!!!!!!!!!

We ended up at the other outlet O_O
Luckily the shop owner was nice to tell us where the other outlet was.
We're pretty shacked from carrying the luggages up and down and trains.
After climbing up, we finally found the onsen!! WHEEEE!!!!
LIKE FINALLY!!!
Got our room and it was on the first floor, which was cool lah! No need to carry the luggage up and down! xD

Then after unpacking for awhile, we went for onsen.
Haha! I guess we're the most noisy bunch of customers ever loh!
Talk non-stop. Even the Japanese lady was quiet. Haha! Went to the outdoor onsen!!

Maybe I'm not used to it.
But the indoor onsen is good lah.
After that, we even asked the Japanese lady to teach us how to tie the obi around the yukata. xD

It was fun wearing their yukata

Then we head off for dinner!

DINNER WAS ABSOLUTELY AWESOME I TELL YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They even give us a second serving lah!!! YAY!!!

Lastly is their Yuzu Sherbet

Super yummy!!

After dinner, we head back to our room and then discuss on how we're going back the next day and what was the itinerary like.
The girls ended up sleeping early while I continued to hog on the TV and watched 'Himitsu no Arashi-chan' until I sleep.

Thats it for the first day!!!!!!!!

Have started saving money now to ensure I can get to go for my twice a year Japan trip.

Am saving it the Ninomiya way.

If you guys have watch Hanamaru Cafe, he did show people on how much 500yen coins he have collected..
I'm pretty amazed at it.
So I decided to do it his way~

Bought myself a cheap coin can (those that cannot be open unless you use a can opener)
And of coz, stuff it with all the one dollar coins that I have.
xD
I don't think it is good to put 10 cents or 20 cents or 50 cents, coz amount is too small in my opinion,
So I decided to put in one dollar, as it would be easier to calculate.
Haha~
And to make it easier for me to know how much is inside, I do make markings on the can itself.
If you're used to the Japanese culture, their way of counting is to use the word, 正.
It has 5 strokes and it is easy to remember.

Anyway, here is a pic of it.
Am doing it everyday.
So by doing it so until maybe lets say end of feb, I would have about this amount.
1 x 30 days = $30
$30 x 4 = $120
Isn't it good? xD
But I may have more than expected as I may put more than 1 coin per day. But the minimum is to have 1 coin a day.

People wanting to buy this and that, and complains no money, do it the Ninomiya style and you'll have money! xD
If not work and don't complain!

Yesterday wasn't that good.
Hmm....
How to say ne?
Too many people and it is not really my type of party.
Too much noise makes it worse.
Well, as people says the more the merrier right?
But I guess I'm different?
I like quiet places with a little noise.
Yesterday was alot. I really meant alot!
I was having my usual headaches due to the noise.
I'm sorry to my friends if I have acted weird.

This morning, I'm super irritated!
Yes, am superbly irritated!
My 2nd brother kept on pressing the doorbell until 1am and my mum went to open the door for him.
He always keeps forgetting to bring his key.
I hate it!
If you're going to stay out late, at least, bring your keys.
Next, is my father.
He went out super early in the morning to do his morning exercise + car washing.
He left his handphone outside my room
And around 5 plus, the phone rang.
I was still in dream land, thinking, why is there Arashi music playing.
Ah! It was my father's handphone!
I went to pick it up and the SMRT people called my Dad up.
I told them I don't know where he is and asked them to call back later.
5 minutes later, they called and I was so irritated, I went to scold the lady.
She told me that the whole conversation would be recorded, but I didn't care.
I wanted my sleep and thats it!
I can get super irritated when someone disturbs my sleep!

Now, am at work.
Feeling really sleepy.
And I have forgotten to drink Chicken Essence this morning...
Need to buy them later.
This is bad ne?
Lack of sleep...
*sigh*

It was unexpected.

Hm...as usual, nothing much to do in office.
New staff coming in next week for training. Hm...
Monday is a holiday ne?
I didn't realise until yesterday.
Maybe I was too busy.

Hm...
Have decided to take up a part-time job to earn some extra money for my next Japan trip with the 2 ladies.
Haha~
I saw someone saying that he spent $3.5k for just 12 days including hotels, air tickets and his expenses.
I went WOAH!
I might spend more due to Arashi >.<
Will be buying some to sell back in SG and earn back my galds.
xD
Anyway, it will be a weekend job since my Japanese classes will end soon.
Don't wanna waste my weekends slacking at home.
Need to be more productive!

Things have been going smooth lately.

Still not bad,

except yesterday, feeling sick.

It was bad.

Was feeling nauseous.

But now, have recovered.

Currently, feeling restless + sleepy...

I want to sleep, but it is working hours now.

Maybe I should a half day leave just to sleep?

I do not have enough sleep ne?

This is really bad....

Shall nap a while @ work first.

Just had fire drill....

Tiring!!!!!

Had to climb up and down the stairs.

So not fun!

Talked to Daven just now (one of my colleague) about Japan stuff.

It was really interesting!!!! Haha!!!!!!!

OMG, he even told me his experiences in Japan!! So cool!!!!

I hope I can get in and then write my own experiences too!!!!

God, please let me enter the school in Japan.

Will do anything just to get in!!!!!

Hm...

Guess I'll be home today?

Coz I need to save my computer before it dies on me.

Coz I'm a super lousy person, so my computer goes down with me.

How ironic can that get?

Got a copy of the WinVista in Jap. *hurhur*

All I need to do is to find the god-damn CD key now,then YAHOO!!!

Need to clean up everything on my harddisk.

Major cleaning later on.

Erm, ya. Skipping classes again.

Anyway, there is someone to help me collect notes. LOL~

Will ask from her next week instead. ^^"

Or should I meet her on Saturday?

Hm....I'm not too sure myself too...

If I don't meet her today, it will be bad, coz she carried the stuff from her house to her work place.
